Operations Manager
Height Access Technology Ltd is looking to recruit an Operations Manager to lead our Industrial Rope Access Operations.
Safety and efficiency are prime considerations in any industrial environment.
In this highly autonomous role you will manage building maintenance, glazing, coating systems, signage maintenance, banner installations, fall arrest and rope access services in the Auckland area.
More specifically, your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
- Preparing jobs according to New Zealand standards and regulations and customer requirements;
- Preparing all documentation, safety and rescue plans and permit forms neatly and correctly;
- Completing checks, documentation and induction training in relation to site safety.
- Ensuring equipment and tools are used correctly and maintained;
- Keeping a neat and acceptable appearance at all times;
- Liaising with supervisor/team leader, colleagues and customers in relation to jobs; and
- Adhering to safe work practices and policies and procedures at all times.
Additional Criteria:
- Fall Prevention Awareness (Height Safety) training;
- Knowledge of Traffic and pedestrian management
- Workplace First Aid Certificate
- Minimum 4 – 5 years experience in supervisory/management role within the industrial rope access industry as a level 3 Technician.
- Level 3: a technician/supervisor who is capable of complete responsibility for work projects; is able to demonstrate the skills and knowledge required of levels 1 and 2; is conversant with relevant work techniques and legislation; has a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques; holds a current first aid qualification and understands the requirements of ASNZS 1891, ASNZS 4488 , IRAANZ and IRATA certification schemes.
To be successful in this role you will be a physically fit individual, meet strict time deadlines, multi-task, self motivated and organized with experience in industrial rope access and procedures. You will be a team player with the ability to work and communicate effectively with a crew as well as Sales Manager and Company Director.

Level 3 Technicians
Height Access Technology Ltd is looking to recruit Level 3 Technicians for our expanding operations in Auckland.
Level 3: a technician/supervisor who is capable of complete responsibility for work projects; is able to demonstrate the skills and knowledge required of levels 1 and 2; is conversant with relevant work techniques and legislation; has a comprehensive knowledge of advanced rescue techniques; holds a current first aid qualification and has knowledge of the ASNZS 4488 and IRAANZ IRATA certification scheme.
